Your questions, answered.
Clientele & treatment-related inquiries
-
Absolutely! MMC welcomes individuals at every stage looking for support with hormone-related concerns and/or anticipatory guidance to set their future selves up for optimal health. I strongly believe it is never too early or too late to invest in your well-being.
-
Yes—by design, and without exception. I don’t view menopause care as a menu of disconnected services. Each featured element is integral to how women feel, function, and protect their health over time.
Our work begins with understanding the full context of your health, then identifying where attention will have the greatest impact for you. I prioritize what matters most to you while keeping the long view in focus—shaping a personalized plan that evolves alongside your body and life, supporting confidence, resilience, and sustained well-being.
-
Our visits are centered entirely around your needs and priorities. If you prefer to focus on a single area of concern, we’ll tailor your visit accordingly and ensure our time is devoted to what matters most to you. I will never upsell diagnostics, therapies, or follow-up visits you don’t want or need—my only goal is to provide personalized care that aligns with your values and supports your well-being and healthspan for years to come.
-
Because hormonal changes influence nearly every system in the body, my care often extends beyond the typical symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. I commonly support women in managing thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, glucose dysregulation, weight and body composition challenges, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides, sleep disruption, changes in libido, bone health concerns, and hormone-related hair loss.
Just as importantly, I address the underlying contributors shaping these conditions through personalized nutrition and movement guidance, lifestyle and stress regulation strategies, and proactive risk reduction—ensuring care remains both comprehensive and forward-thinking.
-
Preventive care is a core part of how I practice. I begin with a thorough review of the factors shaping your current health and future risk, then partner with you to build a personalized, evidence-based plan focused on protecting long-term function and quality of life. This includes proactive strategies to reduce risk for cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline (including dementia), muscle and bone loss, and certain cancers.
A key part of this work is identifying modifiable risk factors and helping you understand where your choices and habits can make the greatest difference. I equip you with clear, actionable guidance to structure nutrition, movement, sleep, and daily routines in ways that optimize healthspan, alongside appropriate screenings, vaccinations, and targeted management of conditions that influence long-term health. The goal is not just early detection, but informed action—supporting health now while safeguarding the years ahead -
I send prescriptions directly to your preferred pharmacy for your convenience. Lab work is typically completed through Quest Diagnostics with many locations throughout Colorado—or, if you already have a preferred lab site, orders can be faxed to other sites/organizations upon request. Depending on your insurance plan, most of the prescriptions and lab tests I order are commonly covered. I’m happy to help guide you in coordinating these services in the most cost-effective way possible.
-
Absolutely. Your visits will always allow for an unhurried, thorough discussion around what pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options may work best for you based on your symptoms, preferences, risk factors, and health goals.
-
Yes. I am experienced with a wide range of diets and take time to understand—and honor—your dietary preferences as we partner on your nutrition. Like with any diet, if I identify potential caloric or nutritional deficiencies, we’ll address them together with clear, practical solutions.
-
Yes. I am dedicated to your menopause journey and work closely with your broader care team to support your health within and beyond hormone care. Your primary care clinician remains integral for illness, injury, and disease management outside our area of focus and offers key physical exam elements that help inform our treatment plan (such as blood pressure readings, heart rate/rhythm, pelvic exams). I also collaborate with your OB/GYN or PCP on procedure-based care when needed, such as cervical cancer screenings and IUD insertion.
Telehealth visits: which to schedule & what to expect
-
Yes. You deserve an expert clinician who you can connect and build trust with for a lasting partnership throughout your menopause journey. MMC’s complementary 15-minute Discovery call is an excellent way to see if I’m the right fit for you. This is typically done via a phone visit but can be scheduled as a video chat as well.
-
For new or prospective clients, simply click on any button labeled ‘Join MMC’ or ‘Work with Me’—then follow the prompts. Be sure to choose the correct visit type when booking. After scheduling, you’ll receive an email confirmation with instructions for setting up your patient portal and your visit details.
For established clients, you can schedule follow-up consultations through your portal by clicking on the ‘Patient Portal’ button in the footer menu.
-
You will need access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone that has video capabilities and a reliable internet connection. I recommend choosing a quiet, private space where you can engage comfortably and without interruptions. Also, to make the most of our visit together, you will be asked to fill out important patient intake forms prior to the visit as well as review and sign the necessary consent form.
-
Prior to your visit, you’ll be asked to complete intake forms—ideally at least two days in advance. These help us understand the key elements of your health history, lifestyle, current concerns, and personal goals. Completing them ahead of time allows our visit to focus more on what matters most to you and less on gathering background information.
During your appointment, we begin with your most pressing concerns and expand to what will most meaningfully support your long-term health and well-being. Together, we create an initial plan tailored to your goals and risk profile, which may include targeted treatments, recommended lab work or imaging, and personalized guidance in the areas where support is most beneficial.
Each visit provides ample time for questions, clarification, and thoughtful discussion—helping you cut through conflicting information and gain evidence-based insight you can trust. Our aim is for you to leave feeling informed, empowered, and confident, with a clear path forward and a trusted partner in your care. -
Not at this time. MMC currently offers convenient, secure telehealth visits through our patient portal. I may add in-person visits in the future—please check back for updates.
-
I am currently only working with clients that reside in Colorado. Though, I will be sure to announce if MMC expands to other states.
Pricing, packages, & payment options
-
Absolutely! MMC accepts most HSA/FSA and credit cards for payment through our secure portal system.
-
I do not bill insurance directly at this time. However, I provide superbills for each visit that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. MMC’s direct-pay model allows me to provide extended visits, comprehensive assessments, and unhurried, thoughtful conversations about your care—without the limitations often imposed by insurance-driven time or service constraints. This approach lets us focus fully on you and the quality of your care.
As per above, depending on your insurance plan, lab tests and prescriptions are commonly covered (except from compounding pharmacies). I’m happy to help guide you in coordinating these services in the most cost-effective way possible. -
I am committed to transparent, straightforward pricing. MMC’s Pricing page clearly outlines the cost and details of each consultation, along with intentionally designed package options.
-
Yes. We offer thoughtfully designed packages to make ongoing care more accessible while preserving the depth and quality of our visits. Packages provide a cost savings compared to individual visits, without compromising the level of care you receive. Full details are available on our Pricing page.
-
Packages may be purchased by request during a Discovery call, a scheduled visit, or through email or the patient portal. New clients interested in the Starter Package should request it during their Discovery call or at the beginning of their Initial Consultation. Established clients may request a package via the portal or at the start of their next visit.
